“ Love this place. But so does everyone else so make sure you make reservations! Food was fantastic. Great drinks. Lovely staff. Great ambiance inside . When it's warm you can sit outside by the pond. ”
“ Atmosphere and service was great. Food was, well, kinda bland. We got the Cypress slate for an appetizer and the bacon-wrapped quail legs stole the show. Entrees were redfish and filet (ordered rare, served medium rare plus). They both were fine but needed generous amounts of salt. Dessert was the highlight- a huge portion of tres leches. Also, need to really brag on the service. Very attentive and friendly but didn't hover. Great for date night! ”
“ Delicious food! Great service at the bar!!! The bar manager, Rob is incredible and kind and takes customer service seriously. The kale, arrugala and butternut squash salad is exceptional!! ”
“ Service was a bit above standard. The knowledge of what was on the menu was great! Food was better than I thought it would be, surprising extra flavors. I ate in the bar room, it was a good ambiance. Salmon is what I had and would happily have again. ”
“ Food, service, location, and atmosphere all hit the mark for me. Great place for date night. ”
“ Where do I begin. The scenery, location, patio, service, happy hour, drinks, food. I'm so in love. The Cajun oysters, scallop risotto, redfish dip, cheese curds, butcher's steak was all beyond expectations. I cannot wait to come back!! ”
“ This place fills up quick, so I recommend making your reservations through OpenTable. My sister and I did not but luckily the wait was stated 30-45mins, ended up waiting maybe 15-20mins. The night was busy. Ambiance is low light, slightly intimate but casual. Clean and comfortable. There's seating for all occasions. The food was AMAZEBALLS. I had the Chipotle Oysters and Butcher Steak paired with the Stiff Lip adult beverage. My sister had the Fried Green Tomatoes (topped with Shrimp) chefs kiss & The Salmon dish. We both had the jalapeño cornbread. Warm and delicious. Zach was a great help with this being our first time here. ”
“ Creative and Quality!!! What a great find! When you're on a road trip and relying on reviews, it's good fortune to find a nice place for a great meal at the end of the day. Not only was the food delicious, Cypress Social is in a lovely wooded setting by a pond, with a beautifully lit fountain spray that can be seen from inside, and of course from the patio seating. Note on the Location::: This restaurant is off the main road, but there's excellent signage that leads diners down the road to another sign, and then past that sign, nestled in the trees, you'll find this gem. Exceptional Service: Our server, Taylor, was friendly and attentive, and she made good recommendations when we asked for input. From the gentleman who greeted us at the door, to the manager, we didn't catch her name, who came by to check on our table, it was clear high quality service is a priority at this establishment. If you like Mezcal, the Honey Pot cocktail was perfection, and my husband said the same of his martini. My husband ordered the BLACKENED REDFISH PONTCHARTRAIN, which was also perfection. We also had the HOMEMADE CYPRESS CORNBREAD with sundried tomato butter--Oh My, what a fantastic combination! I had the SMOKED CHICKEN with roasted garlic and gouda mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus. The potatoes and asparagus were cooked perfectly and delicious! The chicken was good, but could have been better if the skin had been crispy and the white meat not so dry, and even chewy in parts, but the dark meat was moist, tender, and tasty, as was the barbecue sauce; it may have just not been a good night for that dish, but I shared my thoughts to pass on to the chef, so hopefully that will help, because it had so many things going for it. What about the desserts? I'll offer an even bigger, 'OH, MY' here. We wanted to order every dessert on the menu, but restrained ourselves and chose the Coffee-Toffee Chocolate Tres Leche (one of Taylor's recommendations--Thank you, Taylor!), and the Carrot Cake, that was not at all traditional, but so good! I wish this restaurant was in our town; there were so many items on the menu we would like to try. We will definitely be back the next time we're in Little Rock. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! ”
“ This is such a hidden gem! Stopped in for dinner (made resos) and wasn't sure we were going the right direction. Kind of in the middle of nowhere, down a gravel road and sure enough there it was behind a little pond. The parking lot was packed on a week night- happy we made reservations. The inside is modern and upscale. The view is gorgeous and there's lots of indoor and outdoor seating! We started with the smoked fish dip with homemade everything crackers and veggies. Our sweet waitress was so accommodating with providing options for food to dip into our dip. She recommended the homemade everything crackers and they were delicious. For entrees we had the redfish and catfish. Both knocked it out of the park. Love the Cajun influence! Their drinks are spectacular as well. All in all, the service, prices, portions and ambiance are 10/10. We will be back! ”
